Important notes

  • For safety reasons, customers sitting in Forward seats may not place belongings under their seat. Please place your baggage in the overhead lockers.

  • Depending on your flight, the Forward seats may already be sold out. Please check at the counter.

Fee list

The fee is per route per passenger.

  • *The same rate applies to adults and children.
  • *When using connecting flights, the fee for two segments will be required.

How to make a reservation

Reservations for Forward Seats can be made at the following locations.

Notices
  • *1One cannot select a forward seat after selecting Payment at Convenience Store. Please select your seat after having paid at the convenience store.
  • *2Forward seats are not available for reservations purchased through travel agencies or corporate websites. Please contact our reservation center or airport counter.
  • *3In special cases, such as flight cancellations, if forward seats have already been purchased, there will be no additional fee when re-selecting a seat on the new flight, even if the new seat is more expensive.
Payment methods

The payment method for seat reservation fees differs depending on the method used to pay for the airfare.

  • If the fare has not been paid:Pay together with the fare within the payment deadline.
  • If the fare has been paid by credit card:The seat reservation fee will be automatically charged to the same credit card at the time of reservation.
  • If the fare has been paid at a convenience store:Pay at the airport counter during check-in (either cash or credit card).
Cancellation
  • Before the departure time: Seat reservation fee will be fully refunded
  • After the departure time: Seat reservation fee is non-refundable
Seat change

If you cancel a Forward Seat reservation, change to a regular seat, or change your flight, the designated Forward Seat will be canceled, and the paid seat reservation fee will be refunded. If you wish to select a Forward Seat again, you will need to pay the applicable fee.
Refund Method
  • Credit Card Payment:Refunds will be issued to the same credit card used for fare payment.
  • Payment at a Convenience Store:
    • ①Seat Cancellation:Refunds will be issued at the Airport counter.
    • ②Flight Cancellation:Refunds will be issued at the Airport counter, via Lawson, or by bank transfer.
  • Payment in Cash at the Airport Counter:Refunds will be issued at the Airport counter.
Effective refundable period

Within the validity period of the ticket and within 10 days from the day following the expiration date

  • *Non-refundable if not cancelled prior to departure time.
